WSOP 2011
The WSOP (World Series of Poker) is by far the World’s biggest poker tournament. Taking place every year in Las Vegas, the festival of tournaments culminates in the 4 day long “main-event”. The 2011 WSOP Main event begins on July 15th and will end on July 19th.
Once the final 9 in the main-event have been decided, the tournament then breaks until November when it is broadcast live on Television.
At the time of writing, the complete schedule for the 2011 WSOP was not available. It is expected to be released at some point in January. The series will feature over 20 major events with huge prize-funds.
Players are able to qualify for the World Series of Poker through a variety of sites. These include the official WSOP.com site where you can play poker online.
Qualifying tournaments start from just a few dollars, and with such huge prize-pools to be won, it’s definitely work taking your chance.
